For many years, a family in our town who live in the Barrio put up Christmas lights like you have never seen before. Their property was huge so every year they added more and more lights and fixtures and trees and anything you could dream up. We could actually park our car and walk around in their winter wonderland. Every year people would donate to the family and they would add more and more lights and attractions. This went on for 30 years or more. Everyone in our town always made at least one trip to Hill Street for the show. It was a tradition. When the father passed away, the tradition died with him. It was a wonderful experience.

Watching on replay ! Love the town where you shopped . The cat cafe is neat. The cats loved the packages you brought in . Cats are so nosey. Back when we got married in ‘67, the grocery store always had paper bags ,and my cats claimed the bags before I had emptied them . Hope your Christmas was wonderful ❤️🎄❤️.

We had a lovely UK type Christmas this year with crackers and home-made “tipsy led” (balmoral trifle) of chef Darren mc Grady’s recipe which took all day to make! Ham instead of turkey however.

It's raining here in Southern California, had been since last night. Quite irregular given we don't get rain all that often and also very rarely if at all, with thunder and lightning ⚡. At least it's not usual to have thunderstorm ⛈️ down in the hither lands , away from the mountain areas of the region

Hi neighbor! Isn't the rain wonderful, Danielle? And the puffy white & gray clouds too. ...even got a couple of rainbows today. Magical. The great thing about So Cal is that it can be 82º one day in December and "winter" less than a week later. I just know Baldy will have snow on it tomorrow morning. If it's clear I can see it from my place in OC. If it stays cold we'll see a dusting of snow on the Mts during the Rose Parade telecast.
