I normally don't post comments, but the rooster reminded me of a family story. My mother, as a child, was sent to the store to buy bread but fell in love with a chicken & rooster set similar to the '3D' rooster you got. She came home with them (this would have been around 1940). They were on top of my grandmother's refrigerator for years - I remember them as a child myself. They were broken and glued back together many times. Repainted many times. I had forgotten these figurines, and thank you for the warm memories.

Yep, I have the OCD with the garage door also. Both when I'm leaving the house and when I check it at bedtime to make sure it is closed. There are many times when I have gone around the block to make sure I closed it.

That bag could still have been used to carry stuff in, I know I repurposed damaged cooler bags before, because... it is still a bag. If I showed you my messenger bag I used for past 3 years lol you'd probably shake your head :P it is held together by old pants strings that I sewed through the material, and even then it is falling apart, but it is such a strong bag. I will use it till it literally can no longer be sewed or duct taped shut lol this was a good vid though. Awesome you guys are in Indiana. I live north, not far from Michigan border. There is a product called milliput a few dollars. I use it to restore ceramics and make little flowers and butterflies etc for my jewellery boxes. It's like an epoxy resin and you can mix as much as you need. If I were you I'd buy some and you can restore it. IT's worth a look for your rooster. The damage is minimal. A tiny bit of milliput and a bit of acrylic paint from the Mrs and you're in business.
