I love all the packages addressed to OWL. I don't put extra tape on packages, maybe IB is weird? That's a question you will have to ponder. One gallon is about 4 liters. Sounds like a lovely day, cheers

IB !!!. That was overuse of scotch tape!.. hahaha.. On the other hand.. my hubby used band aids once, as he didn't have any tape in the house... hahah I made my first turkey pot pie today!.. ha. Hubby asked for one, so I bought the premade pastry, and made him one for our anniversary. 💗 Boxing day shopping is very popular here with the after Christmas sales especially the candy, chocolates, wrap etc. People line up for savings on tv's, computers, clothing etc. Not me.. I only did that once and never again.. ha What a great puzzle idea from Izzy... she sure put some thought into that gift. I use the gallon zip bags a lot, and like you I wash and reuse them. I freeze food in them then transfer the food into the bags for my electric food saver to seal them. Food lasts forever done that way. Glad you had a lovely Christmas with your family. ❤

Present wrapping: I use bare minimum as tape is not cheap and I want it to last a long time. Mailing cartons a different matter. Our postage increases again soon. Often postage costs more than what the items cost now. Can't send heavy items! Fun to see your presents. My cat brought me a little dead mouse!

Probably! I recommend them to everyone. Even if the environmental side isn’t a huge concern for someone the supermarket plastic ones work out to be so expensive that it’s worth getting reusables just to save some cash

Enjoy your soup kettle, they’re so handy. I had one for years until I bought a Vitamix and now that heats soup as it blends The wrapping thing can’t be just a male thing because we all do it in my family, and we’re proportionately female - my dad’s side is 8 girls to 3 guys and mum has a sister. We are all guilty of sellotape overkill 😄

I think it is a gender thing with the wrapping paper, my brother always wraps one of my presents and then totally covers it in sellotape, it takes up to half an hour to open, it drives me insane lol x
