I make cinnamon salt dough gingerbread houses and use puffy paint to decorate them. I also recently learned to use white wax sealer to hold it together so it looks like dripping icing. They look exactly like homemade gingerbread houses only they last for years

I just bought some burgundy and gold velvet ornaments. I do luv velvet! Always fun shopping with you. My guess is Michaels prices are marked up so the 40% coupon isn't a deep savings for us.

I liked the real wood signs too! Simple and classic. I didn’t buy any of them but I did buy that aged brass looking mailbox. The front opens up so you can easily retrieve any letters dropped inside.😊

The Michaels store around the corner from where I live in ridiculously high, even at 40% off. Same with Target. Walmart gives you the best bang for your buck, in my opinion. 5:31

I watched the same part of this video like 5x. I couldn’t get past it. I kept being interrupted while watching it. lol!!! The prices are high. I think that’s why I get most of my decorations from Hobby Lobby, the 50% off happens more quickly. As far as the velvet ornaments, not this year, but they have made me reconsider doing a blue themed Christmas. I have never done Christmas in blue and have never even thought of it. if I could get the right color blue, I think I would have my first blue Christmas.

Even though the prices seemed high, Michael's had some cute things. I really like the Christmas tree pillow. I did find some flocked ornaments but had to go to McGee and Co. The cost wasn't too bad but I thought shipping was pretty darned high plus they tacked on a fee for insurance. 🤔
