I love Christmas too! It’s going to be a tough one due to losing my dog in July. He absolutely loved it too. He would watch me decorate and on Christmas morning was so excited over everyone’s presents inc his own. I miss him soooo much. 😢. I sincerely pray for anyone having a difficult time this year. Very beautiful decorations.... and crackling fire is what I play at night for ambiance during Winter & especially on Christmas morning while the kids open presents. Then we turn on A Christmas Story after we clean up.

You and I are of the same mindset right now! I always go all out with decorations but when you throw 2 kids and daily mess into the mix it makes the house feel cluttered so quick and leaves me itching to take everything down. This year i decided to dial it back a bit and dont get me wrong.. its still very festive but my small home still has what feels like some open space to allow us to live in it without feeling like if the kids bring one toy in the living room it's already too much. I'm so obsessed with it. It's still so beautiful but at the same time still feels like I can breathe haha. I love the direction you chose this year.. so happy to see I'm not alone and someone elese is on the same page as me.
