Random viewer here looking for Christmas decor ideas. Great hack of using pipe cleaners to close up gaps in the tree. I will be implementing that this year! I like your decorating style. Mine is late 50's / early 60's with multi-colored tree lights and vintage glass ornaments. Several of the ornaments belonged to my parents. And of course, I'm partial to colored lights on a Christmas tree!

I am so glad I decided to do the red and green this year. I love all the decor you have. I am a Cracker Barrel girl also. Love the little gingerbread set you have in the cake stand. It’s all so beautiful and your tree is gorgeous. Can’t wait to see what else you do! I have a collection of coke crates, Pepsi and old bottles.i will start mine probably November 1, I always had Thanksgiving at my house and had it decorated for Christmas then also. I done crafts for many years and even had a couple of shops, now retired and do a lot for my own home now lol. And of course you started with my favorite….GINGERBREAD! I have the same set you put in your cake stand. Except I put mine on a round styrofoam piece that I decorate the edge with holly borders. This makes me want to start decorating my kitchen. Everything looks so pretty. It was so sweet of your hubby to go get you some more ornaments. He’s definitely a keeper. I like all of the lights on the trees...white or color! I love all of the village in the window and the gingerbread...so pretty! I love the Mr. and Mrs. baking Santas and the hedgehog too...really cute! I decorate after Thanksgiving. I put up my trees with nothing on them the day before Thanksgiving and decorate them the day and week end after. My family that comes to my house for Thanksgiving would have a fit if my house was decorated for Christmas before they come. It's a very special time for us because we've lost so many members of our family so it's much smaller than it was. I don't mind waiting to put everything up. It won't take me to long and I have outside to do too. I leave everything up until 12th night inside which falls on December 5th. Your home always looks so beautiful and I enjoy seeing everything you do and all of your decor! 🎄⛄

I have no idea what is going on with me...thid id too early for me to be all in and yet Christmas clothes, movies and music are filling up my days as I decorate. I started gingerbread last year and like you it will take me years to get a collection. While I'm not doing that decor this year, I did buy some of the decor to keep growing...your dome gingerbread village is just so pretty!!! The pinecone looked like a mini Christmas tree. Loved the village idea in the window. I usually wait until after Thanksgiving to start Christmas, because I enjoy Autumn so much. The gingerbread scene in the cake plate is adorable. I was going to take my Fall décor down today, but, I didn't! It has been up since Aug., but, this yr. as I'm a election worker and will be at the polls for 13 hrs. Nov. 5, I have decided to start earlier , as it takes a few days to recover from working, and ,I don't want to waste a wk. I have a collection of gingerbread & Mr. & Mrs. Baking Santa's that I put in my kitchen. I have a fireplace in my kitchen so that is always fun. I love the colored lights best, but, the clear lights are pretty, too.

lol, I think what you saw was the very top of my dog walking by! I watched it a few times trying to see what you saw! lol… it’s about 32 minutes into the video! I started decorating either the first or second week of October. I don't decorate for Halloween so I jump from fall to Christmas. I barely decorate for fall. Christmas is when I go all out and it usually takes me weeks to decorate and now I moved to a bigger house which calls for more time decorating

Hi, T! I checked the link for those beautiful tree lights…some of the reviews say the lights are too yellow.? They do not look yellow on your tree, just warm light…also they talk about the black wire…yours looks green, I can’t really tell though…also, do your stands plug into one another? If not, does that make it hard? Also, are yours warm lights , plus colored option.. I didn’t see the color option on your remote Thanks. All your decor is gorgeous ❤😊

Hey Corki! I don’t think they look yellow at all ❤️ You can order the cool white option too. These don’t have an option for color, but I think they have a colored option online! I know they have red and green because I have those and I love them! I think the color is dark green for the wire, but I’m not positive on that. Either way, it matches perfectly with a green tree! I would even use them on a flocked tree since I push them into the tree ❤️ The lights do not connect together though. I just plugged them into an extension cord so it wasn’t a big inconvenience, but their lights that I had hung up on my carport during Christmas time that are red and green icicle lights do connect together ❤️

One big distraction from your otherwise wonderful video- your TV is way too loud! It really takes away from the excitement, etc that otherwise would be there. Please don't let that interfere with all your hard work and creativity! I just subscribed and oddly enough, no TV noise is heard now!
