Omg Amanda! My house almost burnt last week. My Christmas light timer stopped working, so I’ve been having to plug the lights in myself and unplug them myself… well I had an extension cord running through my window and plugged into the same outlet where a heater was plugged in, and when I unplugged it, it shot flames out of the outlet to my face. Then I noticed blue flames thru the outlet holes and quickly unplugged the heater too and it did it again and had blue flames in all four outlet holes. I was scared to death the flames were inside of my wall, but praise Jesus 🙌🏽 it wasn’t. It did melt the outlet tho, so my husband changed it out and plugged only 2 strands of Christmas lights in and within 30 minutes, it was melting again. I have been a nervous wreck since then. Scared to even sleep, in fear that the house is going to burn down. I’m so glad y’all realized your lights were dimming. Could’ve been so much worse!

I’ve always been told never to plug an electric heater into surge protector or extension chord. Fire hazard. So glad you noticed!! Very scary!! I always enjoy your videos! I hope y’all have a very Merry Christmas!!! 🎄🎁 😊

Saw on SheWolf’s video today, when she’s not ready to wash couch throws but wants the dog hair off, she puts them in the dryer with a Bounce (I think) ‘pet hair’ dryer sheet. Jodi Dunn My Messy Life got really good couch covers, with individual seat covers, on amazon. Looks very good and so easy to remove and wash regularly.

My vet has me put apple cider vinegar on a cotton ball and clean our each ear, then put rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and rub that in the ear to dry it out, use every other day for awhile til he feels better.

ACV is an anti fungal, so I can see why that could work. I feel so sorry when our dogs have to suffer with this.

Hey Amanda, I love watching your videos every week! I love seeing the before & after pictures because they are breathtaking! I can't wait to see more videos every week! I have a load of laundry in the dryer now and will have to fold/put it away after it's all done. The amount of stuff you did in this video is because I hope I have the motivation to get my Christmas shopping done and step in for the day. I can't get over how the cat was trying to attack the shaver as you were using it on the couch. My dog attacks the vacuum cleaner if I'm vacuuming the carpets or the floor around the house. ❤❤❤

Amazon sells several types of ear cleaners and cleaning wipes for dogs. They also have jumbo cleaners (like q-tip for dogs). The key is to be consistent in treating for several days until healed. Then do regular maintenance cleanings. Long ear dogs tend to have trouble with moisture because they don't have much air flow to their inner ears.

I had two bassets. Their ears do smell because of the moisture from when they drink water and when they go outside. You can get some ear cleaner at the pet store to flush his ears out. It smells like vinegar but does help some.

My husband came out here to Australia with a fungal infection in his ear and we got rid of it with tea tree oil but it stings! Maybe watered down solution for Flash?

Unfortunately a leather couch won't solve the dog hair problem. We had a leather couch and a small dog with white wiry hair like Flash's and it worked its way into the leather. I would have to use tweezers to get it out😂

Eucalyptus oil for dogs ears, and the vet can prescribe ear wash that will help. Flop eared dogs are prone for ear infections. :)

I wonder if you take the cushion covers off and wrap the cushions with cut up bed sheets and wrap the back cushion stuffing in sheets if it would stop the stuffing from working thru the fabric? Obviously you couldn’t do your ottoman that way, but might be worth giving the others a try.

I had the same problem my part poodle/ part beagle puppy. I tried so many things and took her to the vet. We just couldn’t find a cure for her. We tried and tried.

There are ear drops on Amazon to treat yeast infection in ears. Cost about $15.

I understand tolerating the animals on the furniture. It's difficult to train them, i just couldn't put the animals outside. You know what Flash would have to say to that!!!😅

Cover the couch. I personally don’t allow my cat or dog on my sofa. Never have never will. They have their own bed. After having a couch chewed up. Nope not no more❤❤

Oh goodness! Heaters aren’t supposed to be plugged into extension cords or surge protectors. They draw too much and cause the wiring to overheat! Praise the Lord you were able to catch this before it got too hot.

A heater should not be plugged into an extension cord/surge protector. It needs a direct outlet.

Did you change his food? I think Marina had some kind of problem with her dogs and started making the food for the dogs. I think they are doing better.Or could it be from the cheese or some other treat?

Could be ear mites. I remember one of my dogs had ear mites and I treated it with ear mite treatment from Tractor Supply. It cleared up right away.

Sounds like an ear infection for sure! I think it can only be resolved with prescription ear drops. My grand puppy gets them occasionally. Oh what a job shaving the couch. Pet hair is the worst!
