The storm was crazy, I had to drive home Friday morning in it. Couldn't see anything. Ended up spending Christmas alone, my parents got stuck in Punta cana so was my first Christmas alone. Felt a little less alone watching your video while I had my own little steak dinner for Christmas. Merry Christmas Matt 💜

Yum, pierogis! Varenyky, olivye, cabbage rolls, and buckwheat pie are some of my favorite holiday foods! Mom made cabbage rolls too but I never end up eating them until days after cause there's always so much to eat lol. I think it was mostly the wind really, the snow wasn't even that bad to be honest.

This was certainly the coldest storm in a century. That paired with the increasingly hot, unlivable summers, hurricanes, tornadoes throughout the US (in the middle of December), etc. I'd say its safe to say climate change is playing a role. Global Warming doesn't mean it's always hot, which is why they use the term Climate Change now; this storm wasn't just Canada, the near entirey of the US, including normally warm areas, were in temperatures below freezing. So I think your news was talking about the storm in whole, not just in relation to Canada.
