They're definitely my favourite chateau owners in this slightly surprising youtube chateau subculture! Although they tease each other, there's obviously love there, and support. I've found myself open mouthed at some of the comments from husbands on other channels.

As a “ retired” florist the wreaths are lovely. I also love the wrapping paper and it’s not weird using your wallpaper boards at all it looks great. I’d see if you can find an old push a long lawn mower which has a metal roller on it, or even the double wooden rollers might work. Get Philip to take off the blades etc so you’re just left with the rollers on the long handle. Then you can use that as a heavy roller for the big boards which saves your back and gives you a better more even pressure on the boards. Happy Christmas to you all x

I have much enough of my town house, with two tiny gardens, I renovate parthly myself.. I practice my English as much as I can, so with you, its great. Not true. What determines amount of berries is the seasons leading up to them revealing themselves. But like someone pointed out, some plants with berries or fruit need another specimen of the opposite genus to be fruitful and holly is one of them.

M'dear...I've been a custom floral decorator for 55 years. Your wreaths are absolutely beautiful! If I were to make any recommendation it would be to let some of the moss show. The wreaths are an appropriate size...but a bit larger would be fine, too. Make them a bit larger next year and allow spaces between the greenery sprigs for the moss to show through. And I'm so happy the camera was "OK"! Hahaha! Great touch of humor there! Wishing you all a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2022!!!

My favorite tree every year, is the one for the family room ❤. As it has the ornament collection of several decades now. Some from my childhood and a great big collection & assortment of all the decorations my 3 children made while they were growing up. Next year, my little grandson should be able to make an ornament to add to Grams collection lol. It's all the memories that the ornaments bring back that makes the tree so special 💕.

I love your tree. It looks a little like ours. I also add dozens of cut soft ribbon - red or creamy white with silver banding - about an inch wide. I tie these on in bows near the branch tips. They act as soft, pretty fillers. Otherwise I have also an eclectic mix of balls, folksy/whimsical ornaments, some cones with string (a few surviving from the early 1950's bought by my Opa whom I never met) and then some white minilights and a gold star on top. It's simple and it reminds us each year of previous Christmases. It's not a statement tree. My kids are now 18 and 20. In a few years, they will be taking some of those ornaments to make new memories.
