The metal santa is adorable! We always did an ornament for the grandparents every year and my son's gift to grandma and grandpa. That way they always got something homade.

Hi Genevieve! Hope you've had a nice weekend!😊 I've seen quite a few ladies getting the Dollar Tree bottle brush trees already! I need to go before the sell out!😬 The last year i lived in NC we lived in a 2 story condo. The living area was pretty spacious with a fireplace on the far wall, glass sliders on one side & a window on the other, almost in a corner. We had A large TV & console on one wall & a huge sectional on the other wall..i mean it had 4 recliners🥴 but that cucumber looked so odd with that window. So I decided to put a 4ft Christmas tree in the corner & decorate for each holiday and/or season. Dollar Tree was less than a mile from me & i bought lots of things there for that tree. Especially crafts to make. My husband was a car salesman & worked long hours, I was alone most of the time, so i did LOTS of crafting! And loved it!😊 They have really gotten better with time too! The snowflakes would be pretty hanging in Claires room.. or in front of a window. If you hung 2 in front of each of your windows that can be seen from the front house, that would be sooo pretty!❄Ohh i love the vintage standing Santa, i really do need to go! Even if we're not moved by Christmas I'll have it for next year! I bought a bunch of those LED lights back then too. They were A little different, a little smaller but still pretty! I had one with the old fashioned bulbs. I had this really old reinsure hanging on the wall at the bottom of the stairs. I sprayed the bottom of the windows with spray snow & put those LED old fashioned lights around the windows.. so stinking cute!😊 The houses are so sweet & they light up! Excited for the DIY video! Oh the tree for Claire is so cool! I need to tell my DIL about that! Even my 3 & 5yr old would enjoy that! The layered ones are the ones i see everyone buying. Yes I loved the tree in the darker crock! And being in A vintage crock the tree looks better "twiggy" 😆 But seriously! I think it turned out perfect! I love it, love the star too! Thanks for taking us along & sharing everything with us, now i to get over there!😁 I pray you have a blessed week!🙏🏻

Cut the ends off of the end off, if you are "crocking" it each year! They do look " very vintage" or even similar to the German feather trees. I am using my tree this year in my guest bath. I got a small flat sided planter hooked to old looking wood hanging on the wall. I may even find some battery lights for it, but will be flat on the back
