Orchard Road on the night of Christmas Eve (24 December 2023).
This Christmas Eve, Singapore witnessed its first-ever Christmas Eve street party on Orchard Road. Stretching from Paterson Road to Orchard Road, the streets came alive with Christmas carols, Santa meet-and-greets, live DJ and band performances, food trucks, three Christmas villages, and a countdown to Christmas Day. Not to be forgotten is the enchanting Christmas light-up in the theme of 'A Child's Dreamscape' at the stroke of midnight.

The biggest , the best & the loudest are still Swing Singapore at the end of 80's to the beginning of 90's under the leaderships of LKY & Goh Chok Tong , turned Orchard Road into a massive discotheque & made sure everyone enjoyed themselves , cherry pickers with DJ & a mobile stage built on a lorry were deployed , the party floor stretched from Scotts/Paterson junction to the Meridian Hotel junction just before the Istana
