Colleen, I have only commented a few times before on your videos but this one I just HAD to! That little clip of Flynn and his crab class really just put into perspective for me of how much he loves you. He loves you so much that he wants to be like you and he’s picking up your hobbies and what you do. For example, him wanting to “vlog” that clip with his crabs just goes to show that he pays attention to you and replicates you because he loves you. I just know that you would say “I’m not the perfect parent” but really, deep down, you MUST know that you’re doing a great job. I just hope you know that. Much love from Virginia. 💜

A while ago you talked about journaling and your little Polaroid printer. Santa got me a Polaroid printer so I can start adding photos to my journals.

I am so curious how you do all this crafty stuff so perfectly. Like the guess who faces, printing them the right size, did that take a bunch of tries? Everytime I do smthg like that I need to keep reprinting until I get it right. That seems so time consuming too! Or measuring the blue paper and rock paper so it sticks perfectly inside the tiny aquariums. I just wish I could watch more of Colleen crafting she is so talented!!!

FUN CHRISTMAS TRADITION: We play this game every year at Christmas but it doesn’t really have a name lol 😂 But basically you get a bunch of tiny gifts such as money, chapstick, mini liquor bottles, candy etc. and you wrap them up into a large ball made out of Saran Wrap. You then take turns passing the ball around in a circle and you try to open it and get out as many goodies out as you can! BUT… the person next to you will have a tray with two dice in it, and they’ll constantly be rolling the dice over and over until they land on doubles. Once they roll doubles… your turn is up and you pass the ball onto the next person, and it’ll be your turn to roll the dice! I REALLY REALLY recommend playing it! It’s super fun! 😌

Hi Colleen! You said you wanted to read about holiday traditions so here you go :) my mom grew up very Christian and my dad grew up very Jewish! We celebrate both religions in our house :) this year, Hanukkah started on Christmas Day which was really fun! In my family, every night we light the menorah (8 nights), sing the certain prayers, and then open a baggy with a card inside it! That card could be a gift, an event, or an activity. Usually my parents try to make our gifts more eventful as Christmas presents and Hannukah presents is a lot! I have been watching your channel for years and the Christmas vlogs always always bring me so much joy ❤ by the way I really enjoyed Flynn’s crab segment, he is so smart and an actual kid!!!! Crabs are a big deal in Maryland where I live :) lots of love and happy new year!!!!!!!! -andie

man every time we get just straight up flynn, I marvel at how cool and smart that kid is. he is an absolute wonder. you've done an amazing job with him and you and Erik should be (and I know you are) so so proud. I don't celebrate Christmas, but every year around this time I take time off work and catch up on shows I've missed throughout the year and on Christmas day I go have sushi. TTQ question: what is your FAVORITE Betty Crocker pre-made cookie mix?? My husband works for the General Mills which they own Betty Crocker. Since he works there, we NEVER run out of cookies in my house🙌 they have 2 NEWWWW cookie mixes that are about to hit the shelf and i was LUCKY enough to get my hands on the mixes. They are SOOO delicious and I cannot wait for them to go public because your mind will be blown with the new mixes once they come out!!! Also my favorite is hands down chocolate chip.

I got my husband a cat after him asking all the time growing up and when we got our house. We adopted her a couple weeks before Christmas and she started letting him pet her 2 days before Christmas and now can't get enough! She's 5 and a half, all black, and such a lady 💕 We had a great Christmas as a family with our 17 month old and playing with all her new toys she got from Santa, and family!

Hi Colleen! Merry Christmas 🎄! I hope you had a wonderful time with your fam... I'm from Ecuador (South America), born and raised and still living here. As a family, we usually spend Christmas Eve on my aunt's house (my mom's sister). We dress up, we eat turkey for dinner, usually accompanied by some sort of rice and a salad and at midnight we hug and kiss everyone wishing them a Merry Christmas, we take a bunch of pictures together and then we start the gift exchanging part of the night. We usually have some sparkling wine for a toast and sangria or ice tea. On Christmas day, we have a smaller gathering just with my close family (my parents, my brother and his wife and me and my dogs) we get together to have a Christmas lunch, take moooore pictures and give each other any other remaining gifts. I know it's nothing crazy, but I love Christmas time as much as you do and it always gives me joy to spend some extra time with the extended fam. Love you and happy new year! 🎉
