Merry Christmas to you and your family. Ice it and when you are resting keep it above your heart. Sseems like a bruised bone with small ligaments tear without being able to xray you. You want bandage support but if it swells over you'll need rewrap. IF it is numb its affecting circulation loosen it. Keep on a high pillow at night take paracetamol or tylenol. I'm not doctor just a paramedic then nurse so friendly advice

Hi Dianne,isn’t jet lag awful😴I usually have it much worse,after returning to Brisbane,from visiting my siblings in Manchester UK 😵 I agree there’s nothing like the smell,coming back to Australia 🇦🇺 Dianne I think you need to visit the hospital,with your thumb👍😫 you may have done some damage? or you could have Carpal Tunnel, before Christmas I woke with a very painful hand mostly in my thumb👍 & was numb at the same time, I had scan & CT scan,it was Carpel Tunnel,a trapped nerve in my wrist ! I had to have two injections in my wrist top & underside 😮the pain went away ! but still need to have an operation,to free the nerve! Have a beautiful time with your family ❤🎉🥂🍾
