OH I wish this had showed up in my feed months ago, I had to do a Christmas Folio for a Swap and this would have been perfect . I'm a new subscriber just joined today because you showed up in my feed. I have a paper pad with some of those designs but not all of them. I searched the website you listed but they are sold out but they do have single sheets so I think I'll get them and do this Folio as a late Christmas present for a dear friend 😊 thank you for sharing.

Love the look of the floral cluster on your cover...beautiful! The velvet trim on the spine looks very sophisticated. OO-oo-oo! Love how the pinecone and greens add to the cover cluster, yet is strong enough to stand on its own...clever idea! Hi Tiff, I really love this album. You mentioned increasing the spine width to reduce the bulk. So, if I do the spine at 1 inch would I need to make any other adjustments in the album itself. I like matting as well so it makes sense to increase the spine.

I would 3/4 or 1 in and you will have more room. You’ll just have to make sure that you have big enough cardstock to wrap it all 😉

What do you recommend to cover up or fix when the paper has split on the edges of the folio? It’s my first try at making a folio, loved it and your tutorial is awesome! I’m planning to gift this folio so I would like to have a decent presentation without starting all over. I have made subsequent folios (more gifts) and haven’t had the splitting problem with those. The quality of paper really makes a difference! Thanks!

It depends on where it splits and the type of album. If it’s on the cover I add a bead of glue under the split and carefully seal it back up 😉. But if it’s like an album that I’ve inked and is vintage I just ink the edges of the cover and it all blends in lol. You can also wrap it with decorative paper, trim, or black tape (if it’s black) and that will conceal it too. But I NEVER throw it away or start over😜

I would like to know how to make on the front cover the little open magnet pocket not sure what you call it, is there a video to do that I went through this video and you never said how to do front cover? Thank you

You choose any size that you want but for this one all I did was take a 4 1/4 x 8 1/2 piece of cardstock and score in the middle at 4 1/4 then you glue it on 3 sides to make a pocket. Hopefully, that helps 😉

Beautiful! How do you cut the matting on your tags? Is it with a scan and cut? If so, is there a way to do it without a scan and cut?

Thank you. I actually just fussy cut cuz it’s much faster to do vs putting a few pieces on my scan n cut. But yes you could definitely do it. You just stick the sticker on your card stock then set it to have a border 😉

Aww this is adorable! Onto my list it goes. I really like your cover too. As far as the little piece on the tab, I would take it off because it's kinda glaring. BUT if you had something in a red or green, I think that would work. Definitely not a big deal though and I would not have noticed it if you hadn't said anything. For lazy crafters like myself, do you think this could be made with 110 lb card stock and no chipboard? I know the chipboard makes a much nicer album though. Just lazy... Do you think your husband checks out your craft room when you're traveling? That thought just popped into my head. I know, I should have left it there right?

Yep you could totally do any folio with card stock. Just depends on what you like. N I try my hardest to keep him out cuz he hates all of it and right now it seriously looks like an episode of hoarders lol. You might find a dead cat under that paper in the corner 😂😂😂
