It's the best kind of day...a great Disney food day! I went to Disneyland to get one of their famous huge hand-made candy canes and also went around tasting different holiday food offerings around the park.
This was the second day that the candy canes were available at Candy Palace on Main Street (they also make them at Trolley Treats inside of California Adventure on alternating dates) and I woke up early to get in line on Main Street to put my name down for one of these candy canes. It's worth it to try at least once, they are very limited and sought-after, so you'll have to get there early before they cut off the line since they only make a certain amount each day.
After that, I went around Disneyland to find different seasonal food items that are here just for the Christmas season. I tried the Eggnog Cold Brew from Red Rose Tavern, the Chile Verde slow-cooked pork plate with rice and beans from Rancho del Zocalo, the Chocolate Peppermint Cream Cheese Pretzel from Refreshment Corner, and the Mint Chocolate Santa Hat Macaron from Jolly Holiday Bakery. All of the food I had this day was so good! I am always happy when every item that I eat is delicious, and this was definitely one of those days. That's in addition to the fact that we also were able to get one of the fabulous Disneyland Candy Canes!
I hope you had fun coming along with me, thank you so much for watching!! xo Lisa
