Don't think people are understanding this comment (but yes, you are right). Crystal palace is the name of the place, with no suffix on the end. This is different as the other answers such as totenham hotspur, totenham is the place, hotspur is the suffix. Therefore palace is not a suffix, its part of the name of the place. I can proudly say I got Crystal Palace from Chamakh, his stint there wasn't that obscure, he was obviously more known for Bordeaux and Arsenal but he has more random clubs. Also Simeone played for Lazio when they won the league in 2000 and he also played for Atletico

Whenever people say about men being sexist and hating women pundits/commentators etc, Stuntpegg is always my answer to those critics. Everyone loves her far more than a lot of the men, because she actually knows her stuff and spends all her time studying the subject. It's not sexism, it's women being put into those positions to tick boxes rather than because they are the best people for the job. We dont care what gender people are, just that they are good at their job. It has been painful watching some of the guys on this series but Nieve is always a joy to watch and gets nothing but love in the comments which is fully deserved

I think that accepting Palace and the team from outside the 92 is a bit iffy because there are probably non league teams with any of the sufixes and Palace is part of the name of the building that the area is named after.

Palace - Regardless of it being after a place, it is still a suffix at the end of the day, it ends the full name. However, completely agree that the non-league side should not have been awarded, would all other contestants been given that leeway? I don't think so.
