My thoughts were “I almost cried at watching someone sew” but that’s me just minimizing. In this case it’s not a fair to your work because- Wow. The welling up of emotion is at how amazing the piece is. The pieces of the piece even tell a story... It helps matters that the composition of the video was so engaging. The way you communicate with just your hands is masterful! I find it luxurious, how you demonstrate everything so skillfully. I felt welcomed and empowered to create. I came looking to make a ball with my scrap fabric and I found a project I will treasure.

Haven't seen these in ages. My mom used to make them with flannel back in the 80s and 90s. I'm positive there's still quarters in the coffee table waiting to be sewn together. The ones mom made weren't all the same piece though, each ring was sewn with a different number of quarters connected.

Thank you! I'll be making one of those for my sister. My little niece or nephew will be born around february and I think this will be great to welcome the baby. Planing on adding to the filling of one pocket per ring. First ring a squaky, second one a little round bell and third one a crackling foil. Hope it turns out as cute as yours.
