I used a light strip like this for my daughters room about 2 years ago. We put it along the bottom of her bed frame and we use them as a nightlight.

Lol to the matching book sets. My fifteen year old daughter is the same! We discovered this personality trait when she was around ten years old. I tried to hunt down the 4th book in Wingfeather Saga around the time they were reprinting. After a year of searching and discovering it would be less expensive to buy all four books new than paying for a used copy of the old cover, we gifted her a new set for her birthday. I'll check out the series you mentioned. My daughter is always on the lookout for new series.
