When my mum does Melba toast she does the second toasting on a baking tray in the oven, a bit quicker than the second round in the toaster 😊 sxx

I love the left overs too. We plan our weekly meals normally but over Christmas there are always a few wing it days where we just eat what we fancy at the time. Have a great time. Merry Christmas 🎉 x

We have a beige buffet on Christmas eve, Christmas dinner on the big day and then left over turkey and make a curry with naans etc and packet rice so Boxing day is easier too. I have that weird itch of feeling unprepared even though I couldn't be more organised if I tried 😆 I hope you have a lovely Christmas and manage to sit with a glass of fizz and soak it all in xxxx

We use our Tesco vouchers for days out at theme parks and meals out when we are visiting family. Means we can spoil the kids for free 😂

I feel like we are in the last few days where we are all wondering if we have enough in? Went to Tesco tonight around 6 pm carpark rammed, all the chilled isles were packed with people. Queues down the isles. We still got what we came for, but wow, I was thinking this isn't even Christmas eve Eve.

Merry Christmas & Happy new year 2023 to you Charlotte, Mark & family , hope you enjoy your feast on Christmas day your dinner plan sounds amazing Charlotte 👏 well done you are bloody amazing, just remember to space your time out as well or you will burn out hunny & please try not to stress yourself out get 1 of your family members to help you out in the kitchen even if its just loading the bloody dishwasher or packing things up for you , don't try to do to much all yourself or you just won't enjoy the effort you are putting into it all ! & I pray that you are all healthy & prosperous in the new year to come , I to being 59 on the 21st just gone are finding it much harder now with my disabilities to cook as standing with a bad back with 3types of arthritis & MS is bloody hard to do everything on my own but I have my disabled daughter & I love her dearly & I am praying she will help with the hand washing up as I don't have a dishwasher so yeh , hard but hopefully fun times ahead , & I hope that sanna brings you something nice as you have totally deserved something beautiful & precious just like you hunny ,love watching your vlogs & carnt wait to see your vlogs in the new year of your family Christmas 🎄 ❤️ together, god bless you all your Vivid fan & friend always ❤️ Linda Dunn & family from Newport Shropshire xx

OMG, watching you do grocery hauls so frequently of late, I feel as though I do not have to eat over the holidays. There must be enough food here already, which isn't the case. And, it seems, buying nothing, because you did all that grocery shopping, will not curb hunger pangs. I hope sharing all this with us is not making you more nervous about hosting this year. You'll do fine. Everyone got into odd habits of cooking due to the pandemic isolations, wherein almost everyone had more people to feed regularly or less. We've lost some habits and rhythms we once had, so we will find new ways of being in a more dangerous world where we must be more conscious of germs we can spread to others and bad ideas attacking democracy. How wonderful that you will have family in every age group present for the festivities. Thank God you are feeding a good number of guests. Otherwise, you'd have to move the kids out to fit all the food and then refrigerate the whole house. LOL. You are right that the food does go. People graze much of the day. You have a plan and you are flexible, so all will go splendidly. You are a good cook. Other people will be involved with the kids and pets. It all sounds delish. I'm coming to your home!
