the German cookies are pronounced Feffer noose that last part sounds like loose. My family used to to make them every year for Christmas. They are a Molasses and Anise cookie which is very much like licorice in flavor.

In America we have kinder surprise eggs. It’s a plastic container egg, you rip it in half and one side has the toy to assemble & the other side is a hazlenut and cream stuff with 2 hazlenut crunch balls. 😊
