Rosie your decors look lovely you have worked hard, I feel inspired now to put mine out for 1st December.It's great that you craft a lot of them yourself as it's a good hobby to have. I'm almost 80 and have always crafted, I help run a small craft club in our church hall, we knit/crochet poppies every year for Remembrance week and fill the church and hall with them. This week we are hanging our Xmas bunting up all around the hall with the fairy lights. That skill and interest will never leave you, my daughter and granddaughter craft too and we all bake. I love how you involve your children in what you enjoy doing, they will have treasured memories to keep. Luv n hugs x

Rosie, everything looks absolutely beautiful! You have such a wonderful sense of style. For many years, we used an inexpensive dark red damask rectangular tablecloth for a tree skirt, until we downgraded to a smaller tree. It was a simple way to cover the tree stand, but it looked really nice. Thank you for sharing your beautiful heart and spirit with us. You are always such a bright spot in a crazy world. ❤️

May I say at 34.12 when you put the light on, it threw the most beautiful shadow of your garland onto your superb pannelling. You could paint the shadow foliage in a slight;y darker shade , to reflect that image permanently, its so lovely, as are you dear Rosie. X

You have decorated so cute! Love the fireplace with the stockings. Instead of useing a tree shirt, buy yards of burlap and plave around bottom of tree. ( If you want your burlap softer and not so stiff...put in washer and then dry in dryer. It will shrink a little.) Next buy a nice fabric round table cloth. Fold tablecloth in half to get center, cut up to center , sew each side with ribbons on either side to tie closed. Place table cloth made into tree skirt over burlap and it will look great. I placed fur over my burlap and get so many great comments from friends and family.

Just beautiful! We always have a traditional colour scheme at Christmas. I just love the red, green and gold. I've bought new garlands, to make for my stairs and mantlepieces. Like you, we have a large kitchen, and 2 lounges. As our home is an old barn, the main ceiling is 28 ft high, so we need a huge tree in there! I cant wait to start making my decorations. May have to start next week in preparation of decorating! Well done !
