I think this is a test more for Lossiemouth than Con Hill. If Lossiemouth wins then that's it , she's Champ Hurdle bound. Should CH win then she'll be back in the Mare's. Alternatively, if CH bombs then Sir Gino may revert to the CH. Whatever happens, I'm looking forward to it...

2 times I heard that stupid statement about CH not being able to give Lossiemouth 7lb at his best. Sorry, the clowns that claim to be expert tipsters I expect comments like that but not you Barry.(big fan of you and the show) It's like the usual click going over the top about Ballymore winners being the next second coming. Lossiemouth, I love her, but at no point have I ever thought she was a champion hurdle hope. Slow pace and beating o.k horses on the snap is one thing. Proper grade 1 pace and established horses is a whole new ballgame. I thought the joke hype on the flat with City Of Troy was laugherble, but the overreaction to races over the jumps so far beats that farce by a mile. Saying that as a racing fan, the match ups that have already run and those to come have been fantastic. Now, thank you to those involved for giving us a treat, and it just confirms my opinion that top horses should be taking each other on all season and not just in March. Don't bet so much anymore, but my only 2 lucky 15s with a medium single wage £20 to £50 singles on them looking good. Mostly because I stuck to the rule, pick the race you think it's going for, and stick with it regardless of whispers and hype. How do you think Spillanes Tower would fair against a dual Champion Chaser over 2m in Cork giving 10Ibs? FYI, Kempton's King George favours speed and jumping accuracy. Completely different test of a racehorse than a Cheltenham Gold Cup. Hillway form looks the best form with regards to Kempton

Con Hill at his best would absolutely destroy Lossiemouth. He won the CH hurdle doing handstands. Lossiemouth ran against Teahuppo in a crawl and he’s a 3 miler. I think you lads are getting a little giddy over a horse that is still yet to be properly tested against 2 milers in the CH division
