It's great to hear someone else talk freely about "having a little cry" on the wall!

This is a semi regular occurrence 😅🥹 No shame in a little cry! Good to get all the emotion out and then get down to business.

Haha wasps. Spent the last 2 weeks there as well and can confirm that the wasps exist.

They really add another level of anxiety when you’re on lead 😅

Such a beautiful place. My wife and I went there last year at the end of October, we had more luck than you guys regarding the weather. I can see there is no more bird nest at the top of Jenga, I was attacked by birds at the anchor, no time for waving my hand lol! And if I may... you should always work the moves of a route on lead, not on top rope. This will boost your confidence

Oh man! A bird attack would definitely add excitement 😅 Glad you came away unscathed. I agree that committing to lead from the start could help me out - but I’d also say that working the moves on top rope is more efficient and saves energy if you have limited time/attempts. There is no right way… I just go with what feels like the best option on the day.
