I love Taunton! Always a great day out-Vivary Park, walking from Longrun Meadow along the river into town, plenty of independent shops and places to eat 🥰

Such a Christmassy video Louise! This has really put me in the Yuletide mood. Really lovely lights throughout Taunton there. Lovely backing music to accompany this too as well as hearing the church bells. Love seeing Santa climbing out the chimney! I remember that bears shop - its fab! Great video!

Never saw any Christmas lights when I went to boarding school in Taunton decades ago, we couldn't leave school after dark. So it's so wonderful to see this. I do remember going to St Mary's if I get the name right for our school Christmas service around this time. Thanks very much and have a wonderful Christmas!

Oh wonderful!! So pleased that you enjoyed this! Yes, there is a St Mary’s in Taunton. It’s St Mary Magdalene, now Taunton Minster. I hope to do a video from there soon on the channel, climbing the tower. Look out for it in the coming weeks.
