I have been to Betty's tearoom twice before, it is very lovely. I went to york on holiday 7 or so years ago, it is a brilliant city. I went to the Viking museum which is a really cool experience. Can't wait for the rest of Vlogmas! Great to see new content!

The treasure house near the minster holds a very famous ghost story! A young plasterer was working on the cellar in the house and suddenly heard loud drumming and marching men and suddenly saw a Roman army marching through the walls and halfway submerged in the floor! No one believed him for another 50 years until someone else claimed to hear drumming from the cellar a d saw the same ghosts! The ghost trails are the things I love about York!

Oh my word! I thought it was busy in the summer but blimey the crowds, definitely not for me 😬😬 And yes park outside the city and use the park and ride, the buses are really nice and was pretty empty when I went. There was about 7 people onboard out of a whole double decker bus 🚌

Shaun your bringing back fond memories. About 7 weeks ago we stopped off in York for the day on the way home to London from Newcastle. We had a lovely day. We did some shopping but main object was going back in time to veiw medival remains of Jewish York. P Sainsbury's car park, Jewbury Street Jubbergate, the old Synagogue, part of the wall and Cliffords Tower. Thanks to Yorbag for making it possible. A safe place to leave bags and suitcases right near York Minster.

York Minster has one of the UK's most heaviest bells called Great Peter at 11 tonnes in weight and manually rang. Great peter is the one that does 2 things the clock chimes and at 12pm each day after its chime it is manually swung.

When I went to York this summer I saw one of the most, bizarre but interesting thing in my life. There was a delivery driver trying to park his car in a very small parking space and there was no way that he was going to fit. However he reversed the back of his car in at an angle (all seemed fairly normal) but when he realised he wasn't going to get in the conventional way he started to spin the front wheels and turn the steering wheel to the left and it made the front of the car slowly slide to the left and he managed to fit in the space.
