Our daughter and family were sick also and ended up Roasting a whole chicken using Ina Garten ( knows everything about chicken) with mashed potatoes, stuffing and veggies, sides. She said it was delicious and never had such a good meal!

For thanksgiving we (my son and I) had our favorite breakfast foods we rarely have because 1) Not good for us and 2) Time. We enjoyed homemade biscuits and sausage gravy, Frittata, and good ol' grocery store raspberry filled powdered donuts. And all the juices!!!! I love that you had Steaksgivng!!!

Just fyi, if you ask for cider in the uk, it is usually alcoholic unless you specify non alcoholic cider. We also have mulled cider which is alcoholic cider heated with lots of spices. We then have fresh apple juice which is just juiced apples that comes in plastic bottles or tetra packs.

Who says pumpkin 🥧 is for Thanksgiving🦃 and Christmas🎄🎅⛄🦌..??
