9:45 yeah cuz when she appeared on the show, she was very raw like she didn't have any proper training in vocal and dancing. While everyone on Unis already has an experience in entertainment industry. For example Seowon is a trot singer and a soloist, Nana is part of Jpop group Prikil, Elisia is a child actress, and had an experience in playing in musical theatre, Jin Hyeonju was already part of two kpop groups before debuting as a member of Unis and so on. In simpler term Kotoko is the most normal among the members before being part of Unis😅

KIM SUMIN almost debuted in UNIS because out on their ranks, she is the only R rank that didn't get to P. By the way, the format of being promoted is from P-R-I-S-M with P will be you will debut. To get promoted to the next rank, you are either chosen by UNICORNS or being voted by fans and viewers. Kotoko is the least vocally skilled next to Nana. But their strengths are Kotoko can hit high notes with her falsetto and Nana is the best dancer. Kotoko and Gehlee are two of the most popular contestants. In this Episode they performed 4 songs. The 1st parts is the Rearranged song which is White(S.E.S) vs Miracle(Super Junior). 2nd part is the Original songs Dopamine vs Camera. Whoever team wins in each battle, one member will be promoted instantly. Meaning a member is on R, she will be promoted instantly to P and secured her debut. If Yunha wasn't selected to be promoted, she would have not debuted.

2:58 sumin placed at top 8 (R ranking) before that episode but hyeonju (I ranking) got in instead of her at finals. Although (this is just an opinion) I think it is for the better bcs Sumin tends to blame others (I just noticed from her mindset and how she talk about something) when something goes wrong and it would create negativity in the group (UNIS) bcs ot8 is alrdy getting along w each other and doesnt actually gives off negative energy

2:55 sumin was actually placed 8th and sunwoo (your other favorite) 9th and hyeonju was 10th place before the last episode. eventually hyeonju got more votes on the final episode that she surpassed them both and got the last slot, the 8th slot of the group.

Before their debut, there was talk about Gehlee being a burden to the group, with some even calling her a 'dozen' due to her supposed lack of talent and a voice that didn’t suit the group. I still remember those comments clearly. But I completely agree with you-she has so much to offer. Her versatility in any concept given to her has been truly impressive. I was especially shocked when I first heard her rap-it was so good! That’s why I firmly believe she deserves her debut and should be recognized as a Sub-vocalist, Sub-rapper, and the FOTG.

I sincerely believe that Kim Sumin could've made the final line up, if it weren't for the group being so young. She was one of the better contestants. Hyeonju was the last member chosen and i think fits perfectly due to her leadership skill and her selflessness which was shown all throuhout the show but the yunha, nana, gehlee, seowon, yoona and kotoko were selected first so it actually became a fight for the last spot between Sumin, Sunwoo and hyeonju

Indeed. I believe both Hyeonju and Sumin really deserves a spot, which actually saddened me because there 's only a spot left for either of them. They could have 9 members but if it's really only 8, people might attack me for saying this, but in my opinion, Sumin should have been on the debut lineup and one shouldn't be tho it is what it is. I also love the current lineup

There was 5 levels in the finale. P, R, I, S and M. M is lowest level and P means debut. Kim Sumin and all UNIS members except for hyeonju were in R and all of their debuts got revealed and sumin was the last person in R to get their score revealed and she failed to debut after all the other R members debuted. So then they moved onto the I level which is where Sunwoo and narumi (your top 3) had their score revealed and failed to debut and then hyeonju debuted. My English is not the best but I hope this helped
