Christmas Island (part 3): Triggerfish

This was my experience trying to target trigger fish in Christmas Island. They were probably the most fun/frustrating fish to go after. They're really spooky but somewhat plentiful. I heard from the other guys that it was somewhat like going after permit. They weren't as picky but combine the spooky factor and the real risk of breaking them off, it was a fun challenge. So funny watching this. Makes it look like it's pretty easy, but for every 1 you catch, there's at least 15 that get spooked, you miss, break off, or go in a hole. LOL

That last fish wasn't a titan. Titans have a mustache and the tail is different. Nice fish either way

What flies did you take for triggers? Just crab patterns?

When I went both bonefish and crab patterns worked. Honestly presentation seemed more important, at least for my experience
