Happy accidents are fun surprises, are they not. I always appreciate how real you keep things Gayle. It is encouraging for seasoned crafters and newbies alike to see the realities of crafting and ideas on what to do to fix up issues. Nothing ever needs to be wasted in the making of 'junk' journals. Thanks for keeping me company.

I think we were all yelling “it’s too small!” You had the fabric up an inch and over an inch so you could see the numbers on your board but you didn’t realize you needed to add that inch back in! We all have done it! More than once! Hahaha. I like the idea of that oops being a page and now you got the tree you wanted on the cover!

My husband and I have been working feverishly to complete my new craft shed before the weather starts to get cold. We have built it from the ground up. He and I have done every single thing to it from framing to roofing, installing doors and windows, electrical ,painting and this past week he built me an 8 foot long by 7 foot tall shelving unit (think old general store ) and an 8 foot long counter for a work space. Still have some painting and staining to do, then get to move all my craft supplies in. Ready to get to work using all the great things I learn while watching you. Great covers today. Can’t wait to see the Christmas journals come together. ❤

A sweet morning to you, Gayle! I'm drinking my morning tea right now. The sun is out, but it's windy and much cooler. The maple across the road in front of our house is gradually turning its leaves to red. We had our first frost of the Fall last night. Brrrr. It's causing me to say a slow, but surely sweet farewell to my lovely flower garden. It isn't gone yet, but is withering. It was a good one this year, thanks to my son and daughter coming to put it in for me. It was such a gift from them after my surgery and helped my healing, too. I really am sad this time to see it go away, because it gives me good thoughts of a good time with my children. Happy moments to cherish for sure. Such lovely papers from Stamperia for the upcoming season. I'm looking forward to seeing how you put the journals together from them. Have a wonderful Sunday! Hello to Mr A, too. Hugs! Sue 🍂 ♥ 🍁

Good morning, sweet Gayle. I'm not ready for Christmas, but it won't stop me watching. ;) Of course I'm also the person that will defend the right to listen to Christmas Carols all year long if a person is so inclined (it's not me, but live and let live). Really I'm looking forward to seeing all you make for the season. And yes, I'm on my laptop again so "Chatty Cathy" is typing. ;) I hope you have a delightful day. Love&hugs Darcy Sanders

Gayle, I hope you are feeling ok and not down with a cold. You should know you ARE more fun than a barrel of monkeys. I always laugh and have a good time, even when mistakes are made, because it just shows we all make them. Even talented people like you. Best lesson from that was seeing you keep your cool and not get rattled. I have to tell you when you were looking at the paper with the cottages and pondering whether to use them as pockets, I started shouting, “Just DO it!”. And then right on cue you said, “I’m just going to do it.” I laughed right out loud…as if you had heard me. You really are one of the best YTers I’ve come across who is so genuine and fun to watch. I always learn something new and think in new ways about crafting. Feel better and I’m looking forward to your next video! Bye from NW Florida

Good morning Gayle! 💕 This pink winter kit is so yummy! Gradually, during the past year and a half I have been using my favorite hoarded paper packs. Very painful, (I actually get a knot in my stomach with the first cut every time 🤫), but letting them simply pile up is a costly and rather fruitless endeavor. These will all be beautiful journals. 👍 Thanks for sharing! Have a great Sunday. ❤

Hi Gayle! Yay Christmas Journals! So beautiful... oh you had me at Stamperia and Cathe Holden!!! I’m working on that Cathe Holden fabric for a journal also. I only got a fat quarter so if I’d been a little bit more careful I could’ve got two covers out of the fat quarter but I wasn’t really thinking and I wrap my fabric over to the inside of the envelope for a finished edge. I could make one and just make it smaller, it doesn’t have to be 6 x 9 it can be Readers Digest size. I love that fabric it’s so pretty and I did quilt around some of the squares like you were talking about doing I didn’t do very many of them but just some.
