Beth, this is lovely...especially like your cover! Would you happen to have a tutorial on how you made it? It's very understated, not overwhelmingly Christmas. Thank you for sharing your beautiful creation! From Cheryl in AZ

Thanks so much Cheryl! Unfortunately no tutorial for this cover. I generally do pretty simple covers for most of my journals as I like them to be practical and it gives some room for the recipient to add their own touches if they like.

@@bethsjournalboutique2637 Yes, I liked that your journal is a general journal with some Christmas/holiday touches, Beth. Not overly so. Thank you, Beth, for responding. I just discovered your channel and see that you have quite a library of videos. I look forward to exploring them for ideas and watching new videos as a subbie. TFS. From Cheryl in AZ.

Beth, this is beautiful! I love the gold paint and ink edging! I still haven't done anything Christmasy this year, because I needed a break from making journals for a bit, but this makes me want to get it in gear! Aren't those gift tags from Michaels pretty?! I bought a bunch last year, and this year there are even more! What's a girl to do? lol

I have just discovered junk journals and love the idea of them. Can you point to where I can some good tutorials on how to make them?
@bethsjournalboutique26379 жыл бұрын
Hi Klee. Yvonne White has a three part tutorial on her channel that would be a great place to start. I would imagine if you searched junk journal tutorial on you tube there would be others as well.

Beautiful journal. Im halfway through making my first ever journal . Xmas theme for my Grandson. Im wondering how you manage to dye your pages without them looking bumpy and lumpy ?????. T.I.A.
@bethsjournalboutique26376 жыл бұрын
Lindy Hawthorne thanks Lindy! I always put my dry pages under a stack of heavy hooks, whether I air dry or dry in the oven. That will help make sure the pages flatten out. Typically I leave them under the books overnight. Hope that helps!
@lindy21646 жыл бұрын
@@bethsjournalboutique2637 thanks Beth, yes that sure helps. I will try that. I was wondering about ironing....LOL.
@bethsjournalboutique26376 жыл бұрын
Lindy Hawthorne I’ve actually done that but it takes a long time! A big stack of heavy books does the same thing and you don’t have all that work! Actually I like the result better than ironing.
