It’s not it’s about Phil and Ronnie spector Phil was a very big music producer he have many hits and Ronnie was in The girl group The Ronettes which he help start and their relationship was not good Phil put Ronnie through years of abuse and to kind of Cope she started to drink pretty heavy and their house was a prison cause phil had barbed wire guard dogs human guards heavy drapes on the windows so she coulden’t even look outside on top of that he would have a gold coffin and he Said if she ever try to leave him he would put her in that coffin himself and when he let Ronnie out which was not often she had to sit next to a doll of Phil just in case and yeah she did escape in the 70s and she had been through all of this for four years with the help of her mom they escaped through a side door and she was out but the kids was still with Phil and yes the kids was one of the ways that he thought Ronnie woulden’t leave and he draged these poor kids into his sick games and the kids diden’t have it well either cause they were put through similar things and then Ronnie did divorce Phil he did Threaten her that he will hire a hitman to her if she takes any of his money or anything else and she had enough she diden’t really care she just needed to get out of that and she did and she kept his last name because she wanted to restart her carrer but Phil had basically banned her from doing that and that is the ”you’ll change your name or change mind” part and ”if you’re ever try to leave me i’ll find you Ronnie” was before but i guess it still kind of counts with that hitman threat and i can get into more detail about the song but i don’t want to take to much of your time RIP Ronnie died just last year and Phil died in 2021 cause covid got him burn in hell you demon it is a good song but the story behind it is pretty dark
