Fantastic! The transition to stars and space around 1 minute is awesome! I love this mix by Kim and found it last year. Great choice and great show!

You are welcome. I should have waited before commenting about the space at 1 minute, as I then saw the X-Wing and Death Star!!!! Fantastic work, and you should feel very proud!@@CleggsLights

🎺🎺 Holy wow! 🎺🎺 This is soooooo good. Do you sell your sequences?
@CleggsLights8 ай бұрын
Thanks for the feedback and appreciate the query. I'm not planning on selling or giving away my sequences as they're very much tied to my specific layout and custom models that would not map easily to other layouts without a lot of work. I know this sequence is done by a few other vendors if you search around.

Dude, Can I ask you for curiosity, do you have one big controller for every led lights segment or many microcontrollers sync with one main controller?
@CleggsLights10 ай бұрын
My setup would be too long for KZbin's comments. I've been meaning to do a tear down video at some point, I'll see if I can find the time to do it. I do have what you might call a 'master' controller that is a third party version of this sort of thing: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mXKxlnmpmNSBhsk with several smaller boxes. Here's a couple of other behind the scenes video to give you an idea on the hardware side of things: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qGSXaYutYtWcZqM and kzbin.info/www/bejne/np6Ze2ana9Bra5Y

are the spiral trees 3d? how did you make them? i love the 2 layers

They are to fit the house, but I can't take the credit. EFL designs did the groundwork for their coro props available here: www.efl-designs.com/product/spiral-x-nsr/ or if in Australia, www.extremelightingdisplays.com.au/shop/christmas/mini-trees/efl-nsr-spiral-x/

wow so cool. How did you get the entire garage door to light up? Is it using a new lighting product? Are you still able to open and close the door?
@CleggsLights10 ай бұрын
Everything in the display is hand-made. Garage matrix is 8mm thick Twin Wall sheets (very similar to Corflute) cut down to 2.1m x 1.15m (garage door width is 4.7m), hand-drilled 12mm holes (4,400 of them) at about 4.6mm spacing. Spray painted black before populating them with WS2812 Bullet LEDs. The magic is that there's a steel lintel above the garage and magnets capable a total of 50Kg vertical each everything in place. So to get in, I just lift off the panel and put it to the side. Not saying it's the best way to do it by any means. There's a local forum with us in there talking about ways of building one including different controllers and mounting options over at AusChristmasLighting. auschristmaslighting.com/threads/garage-matrix-builds.15196/page-3#post-130131

Impressive. I could see one day a permanent solution integrated into the door panels themselves@@CleggsLights
