Orchard Road Christmas Light-Up 2023
When: 16 November 2023 - 2 January 2024
The timings during which these displays will light up are as follows:
Sunday to Thursday, 6.30pm to 12am
Friday and Saturday, 6.30pm to 2am
Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, 6.30pm to 6am
Marking its 40th year, Christmas on A Great Street is back to infuse the year-end season with festive vibes and holiday cheer. Alongside the Orchard Road Light-up, attendees can enjoy three Great Christmas Villages and partake in the inaugural Christmas Eve street party on Orchard Road.
This year’s light-up is inspired by a child’s imagination and features images based on a cotton candy dreamscape. The decorations feature Christmas trees, bells, teddy bears, reindeer and candy canes alongside a yellow, pink and turquoise clouds.

i was at orchard road last sunday but the lights were not lit up yet. of course, the most beautiful and memorable decoration along orchard road was the disney's centenarian theme in 2018. now, they look so beautiful, especially after the sunset. really looking forward to seeing your christmas eve countdown video soon!

Alot of Tourist, had lamented Singapore looks 'quiet' and lack of the 人气 (aka; the human-touch) as we had been building more and more underpass-tunnel thus they would hardly see 'human-traffic' on the surface, anymore! It's almost important to build underpass for human-passage & tunnel-shelter but it's also important to build Big-Platform Overhead-bridge connecting shopping-plazas to another shopping-plazas thus to create the Vibrant 'human present' 人气 feeling on the surface, as can be seen laty at MBK (Bangkok) newly build overhead pedestrian platform. Such, Big-Platform Overhead-bridge can be build at tourist attractions places eg; 1.) Infront ION - Wheelock Place - Shaw House - Tangs Plaza intersection, connecting all-together 2.) Grange Road - Cairnhill Road , T junction towards 313 Somerset 3.) Suntec intersection. Suntec - Marina Square - Raffles City - Bugis junction, connecting all-together.
