Strasbourg Christmas market . . . fantastic! This wonderful place is my favorite major urban zone in Europe, with Vienna coming in a close second. Heck, they even have canals! Since Strasbourg sits about 350 miles further north than Toronto, Canada, cold weather in winter is no surprise. What's surprising is that a marine influence still reaches them so far inland, which usually keeps the temps there above freezing. However, they do get snow occasionally, and I hope I'll be there to see that some time!
