On of my fondest childhood memories growing up on a dairy farm was the Christmas Eve Polish traditional story that the animals talked on the stroke of midnight. We would always make sure they were "happy" and had plenty of feed and bedding.

This is the night my Granny always told me the cows got down and prayed at midnight. Ha, I had no reason not to believe her then, but it has never left me the very fact that a lot of special things happened in a stable that night in Bethlehem and I've had the privilege all these years of being around animals and stables. Hey, the first ones to hear it and the first ones to tell it were the farm boys! Pete, Hilarie and family all have a very blessed Christmas with each other and the blessing of the animals you care for!

Hi Pete and Hillary! I started watching your videos sometime this past spring. Seen pretty much very video. I was brought up on a small farm. Never knew what kind of animal my dad or myself would bring home from the many farmers we’d visit or from stock auctions. I don’t have a farm myself now. Life dragged me away from it. Sure do miss having my mooing pets. Thinking this might be the reason I enjoy watching your videos so much. Kinda takes my mind back to my past. Shorthorn and Hereford cross was mainly what we raised. Had chickens,pigs , a few goat at one time and I took some baby ducks home once. (Very messy animals) . Your roaches and sausages are growing likely crazy. You guys have a really nice homestead. Have a very merry Christmas Pete and fam. Like always, looking forward to your next video.

Continuing - responsibility in life. I worked on my uncle's dairy farm when I was younger. Um 74 now and I work. I drove truck for 43 years now I work at stone quarry. Work gives me sense of accomplishment and reason get our of bed every day.
