I'm very traditional, I don't change colors or themes every year. I have a tree that reflects beautiful memories. But, long before I ever got married, I selected basics that fill the tree with sparkle and unity so that those special individual memories each shine!!! Yes, I'm a designer (well, not anymore but that's my background and degree). Things that do sometimes change - mantel, railings, finishing touches in various rooms, wreathes, pillows, etc. I used to try to teach this to others as well, which I had thought everyone did but apparently not from the thrilled responses I would get!! Love how you have it all so beautifully organized.

We’re moving into our dream house tomorrow. It looks like a cozy woodsy cabin on the outside but it’s spacious and light on the inside. We’re going to do a rustic woodland themed Christmas with traditional colors and buffalo plaid and lots of woodland creatures. I can’t wait!

Because of you inspiring me, last year I decided to stop decorating the same way I had for years. I moved things around, and did red and gold only, mixed with fresh pine.... and made a dazzling tree topper. My family was floored! This year is white, gold and light blue. Icy wonderland! Rebecca, my Christmas decor addiction has gotten worse over the years from watching you for so long. Since building my dream home in 2018, I have been piecemealing Christmas 2019 since September 😋 my home is rustic farmhouse themed, so I will be doing a flocked tree probably with silver, gold, wood, and burlap colored accents! Ahh..if only I lived in San Diego. I wish best of luck to those lucky ducks who live near you. 😊 I also have developed an admiration for deer decor after your many deer decor pieces shown in your reveals. I remember Scott's entire apartment make over when he moved back to the west and the ombre tree that Sharrah painted while you did the magic touches of orange. So adorbs!! I get to live my Christmas decorating fantasy with your channel. I decorate with the same things my husband and boys have collected over our thirty years as a family and what I had as a child. Last year we decided to paint our own glass Christmas baubles with my sister and Mom, because we loved your Christmas Tree baubles so much but couldn't find anything that looked quite the way we wanted. So we ended up buying around 100 baubles, painted them with acrylic paints and glitter, and sold some of them at a Christmas bazaar in a Saturday School in London. We didn't just paint snowflakes and stars but went full-out and painted entire Christmas scenes on them, including the Nativity. :) Thanks for all your inspirations throughout the years. I have 2 trees. I love to be colourful, fun, whimsical on one tree and the other tree is the tree I use silver and white with muted colours of pink and icy blue . Because of you I do picks and pixie lights in vases all over the house and I also bought apothecary jars that I fill with different items for different times of the year. Love your style and all the help you give us with taking us along in your life as a designer. I watch all of yours and Sharrah's videos. Hoorah Christmas Tree decorating!!!! I couldn't have clicked on quick enough. I have to say I'm lucky as I have 3 trees to decorate in my home. Front room is a white Christmas theme with a flocked tree, sliver, white and a hint of blush pink baubles and nik naks. Middle room is a green tree with red, gold and green theme and dining room tree is white with cobalt blue and copper/brown theme. The rooms are heavily decorated too. We have taken allot of ideas from you over the past 4 years and added them to our own style. Looking forward to seeing what you'll both come up with this year 🧡

I absolutely love your Christmas videos. It's not Christmas decorating time until I see one of your videos. Yay!! I am starting next week. Pewter and White is my color scheme this year!! Ever since I started watching you years ago, I started collecting different balls. My main decorative Ornaments are in white, gold and silver so I can just change balls, ribbon and picks from year to year and add one of my accent colors. Love this idea. I plan a year ahead so I can find my colors at thrift store/yard sales etc. You have inspired me so much!! Love you and Sharrah!!

I need to get a new tree but I just never can find one as beautiful as your flocked one. Mine is an old Walmart tree that I had to cut all the lights out. I have spray painted it some for my DIY flocked look. It's looking bad. Hopefully I can find one after Christmas this year. But I have learned so much so my 7ft tree gets 800 lights now and I go in and out like you taught us. I am getting ready to move from IL to Louisiana in June and I will designing a whole new space.

I bought my first classy tree the other week and decided on a white/platinum/gold theme but it’s come out more frosty woodland style (I think)with so many picks in it you can’t see the tree. There are lots of flocked picks with a few pinecones, green, silver and white small vines and gold and silver picks. I reckon if I take off the baubles and cream flowers, I could leave it up all year and you wouldn’t know it’s a Christmas tree. I have some great photos of it. In addition to those colours, there are light green, almost copper brown and teal baubles. Instead of using ribbon but wanting the same sort of effect, I’ve made white, clear and silver beaded picks so it looks like it’s rained overnight and left some icy trails. I felt ribbon would be a little heavy or distracting. They look awesome. I’ve now got to take it down as the lights have just come into the stores and I have to put them on it. Good fun in my book. Still have to get large white poinsettias. I reckon this tree has quite a lot of personality and would look fantastic in many styles of houses. Im in Australia and would love a cool, snowy Christmas...every year. I’ve also been making patchwork fabric pinecones and going to use your bauble chandelier idea to hang them. They will be hanging on beaded garland in soft silver, light teal and aqua but in a spiral design. They are in burnt orange, cream, greys, turquoise, greens, warm and cool blues. I wish you could travel. Your work is always gorgeous and I have watched you forever. I usually have two trees. One in the family room with my 3 son's childhood hand made ornaments and heirloom ornaments. The other is a glitzy feminine white, purple and silver, sparkly extravaganza that stands in front of the bank of living room windows at the front of our house. This year I will have no decorations because I will be on bedrest recovering from heart surgery. I cant even express how sad I am that I will miss the holidays. I LOVE your Christmas videos at Robeson Design and Live Your Style, so I just can't wait to see how you both interpret the same colour palette in two different ways! My sitting room tree this year is white gold and midnight blue, which I've done for tears, but this year I'm adding peacock elements to it to freshen it up! My two dining room trees are white trees which I used to do in white, blues, silvers and LOTS of crystals, but this year I'm going for a Venetian theme in gold, rose gold and champagne! I've spent the last year making different masks in those colours, overlaying them with lace, decoupage using sheet music from J.S. Bach's Christmas organ music and crackle glaze, and Harlequin patterns with metallic papers - and lots of ostrich plumes LOL. Plus there are my filler ornaments in the same colours, strings of pearls and again, lots of crystals!

Yea!!! So excited for Christmas videos! Last year, I did brown's, rusts, a chartreuse- pear colored green, with pops of red ( mostly cardinals and apples). It was SO pretty! The tree also rotated and had a dozen spinners. This year, I'm going coastal...sea glass blues and greens with silver accents. Good luck with Kinwoven!
