I think your 2 year old might also like the gruffalo! Mine listened to all the Julia Donaldson books at 1-2.

We have had Yotos for 3 years and we love them! This was one of the best “What I got my kids for Christmas!” Videos I’ve watched this year.

We have five kids and several Yotos! Adore them! We do have the membership which gives two credits a month but even better I enjoy the 20% discount and free shipping because that really adds up. I just count the membership as any other subscription my kids have. I was able to buy the Narnia set and Boxcar children for Christmas with my saved up credits and the discounts. The only con is I am careful not to use credits on cards that cost less than the value I essentially paid for the credit if that makes sense.

@@LearningPlantingGrowing yes yes that makes sense! I am looking into this for sure :) especially if it looks like a few more minis might need to be added for road trips, etc next Christmas 🤭🤣

@ I went back and forth so much on it and it has honestly been so used by the kids it’s incredible. They work great and kids being kids they listen to the same stories over and over anyway! It eliminated all the tablet and Alexa issues we were having with exposure to things I didn’t want and they love Yoto! I hope you all enjoy and Merry Christmas!

How do you do it with four? And soon five? 🙈 I have three kids; 10, 8 and 2 years old and I am drowning.
@hannahgravelle3 сағат бұрын
Some days I'm definitely drowning, especially Christmas season 🙃 lol! But I take it a day at a time ❤️❤️ less is more with home, activities, etc. we do have a routine, contributions the kids help with, these help though it isn't perfect 😉

Thanks for sharing your gift ideas... Will your older girls notice that their brothers have more gifts? (And do you wrap things individually - like every book separately??). Some kids are very sensitive to that.. especially since they are older . 11 yo - 4 items 9 yo - 5 items 6 yo- 9 items 2 yo- 8 items I didn't add in the yearbook .. Just my thoughts - I feel your 9 yo should get 2 or 3 sets of Legos like her brother because it's not her fault that only boy Legos were on super clearance..(( as far as budgets go I would add up all 5 or 6 Lego prices and divide the total by 2 kids... That way it would spread the amazing deal out over both kids.. normally you wouldn't have to do that..)) I just feel bad for your 9 yo. - her brother is getting amazing big Lego sets . And I feel bad for your oldest.. .. I am not trying to be rude or anything by my comment.. I just feel sorry for the girls. I am not the type where everyone has to get exactly 9 presents to unwrap, etc. But the Lego gifts were so one sided and obviously your daughter loves Legos if she displays them all in her room and they play with them too... I love the puzzle table/organizer..and I love that your 6 yo wanted math workbooks for a Xmas present .lol .

@@robinjones1955 such good points!! The girls are smart at math 🤣 and they know their brother got all those lego sets at a cheap discount because I told them since I'm bad at secrets & the 9-year old will probably build them all with him 😆 she doesn't like the traditional lego faces 🤦🏻♀️😅 but building is her favorite part and since he will need her help, that should do the trick! But definitely a good concern! Now that they're older I think they pay more attention to $$ then counting but when they were younger I was careful about that, haha. Kids are funny! My oldest I felt bad too because the Yoto was an investment gift but that's why I added the glass bead kit as something else to unwrap. And stockings coming too! Trying to keep it at $125-150 and spread out number of gifts is tricky for sure! Especially since little ones gifts are typically cheaper 🙈

@@robinjones1955 the puzzle table was $60 and her top gift choice I should add 😆 otherwise I would have used that to get her a few more legos 🤪

We got a yoto mini this year for Christmas and im SO excited!! Im very new to yoto as well, but I *have* learned that a lot of the classics are either abridged or adapted 🫤 just something to look out for with the classics from Yoto! I'm definitely most excited about our Yoto as well!!
