A few years ago, I was at the airport to fly home to see my family for Christmas. I was in the bar having a drink and chatting with two college students who were heading to Florida for winter break. Then this song came on and we all got lost in our thoughts. By the time the song ended, the two young men were teary eyed. They cancelled their flights and went home to be with their families. What a loving gesture to their moms. I think I smiled all the way to Texas. Merry Christmas everyone.

No matter how many time's i hear "christmas shoe's" and "christmas carol" i have to choke back the tear's!...it's very very sad that both song's are reality all over the world, and not just around christmas time!...God bless us all in these difficult time's that are coming!...we all should be doing the right thing to help those who are much less fortunate than we are, don't look passed them or stick your nose's in the air, it could very well be you or your family who are in that same position 1 day!....merry christmas

I fell in love with this song the first time I heard it many years ago. 2 years ago at just 36 I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and until now I have never been able to listen to this again because it reminds me of my son and just how he is with the little things.
