Wow that was a big shop! How much is duty? Do they charge duty on food? I haven’t shopped across the border in years. Did you find with the conversation and duty worth it? I kinda felt bad for Curtis when he was at the door. I sensed his stress.

Costco in NB sells peanut butter chipits from time to time. I haven't been to TJ Max in over 15 years but I always loved it. The USA has SO MUCH STUFF!

We used to shop across the border regularly when we lived 10 minutes from the nearest crossing. Now we never do since we’re three hours away. I’m impressed that you’re farther than me and you made a cross-border day trip. I hope the duty wasn’t too expensive.

We have pb chips in Canada. The Hersheys Chipits ones. Or, at least in Ontario we do. Hopefully they have them out your way 😁. I miss cross border shopping...should really do that soon lol

I noticed a shortage on the Christmas tree Little Debbie snacks. I had to get the kind in a 12 box count on Walmart online shopping. Then Amazon had dome bit it was 3x the cast. I am in Tennessee USA.

There’s Reese’s chips here (Nova Scotia) Got some at Walmart a few weeks ago. I actually can’t stand Little Debbie cakes. Or Bugles 😂 Sad for those that like them though. Being an American that moved to Canada, I am always smacking myself wondering why I did that...just for the foods in the grocery stores. Cereals, Cake Mixes and Frostings...Chips and on and on. *sigh* Plus I grew up eating Grits and I can't find them here (it's a Southern thing)...thankfully my mom brings up a supply for my daughter and I both that we try and make last until the next yearly visit. Hahaha, Sorry Curtis...Christmas shopping is not complete...even after Christmas is over because you have to start shopping for the next Christmas...it's a cycle. But for me now it's a less is more thing as no money makes ya do that and besides my people have tons of things already so there's that too. The childrens medicine shortage is definitely spreading. I live in Indiana and everyone was out of kid's stuff. I was able to find a couple bottles of Tylenol and Sudafed for my kiddo, but it took going to 4 stores. Absolutely nuts. Think everyone has regular colds, the flu, potentially covid...it's rough out there. I'm trying to lean more into my essential oils to help with congestion & headaches for my kiddo, but you definitely need that cough suppressant and fever reducer at times.

What a great shopping trip! I like to hit Burlington Coat Factory (right near Target) and also, JC Penney. You did good with all that you got. My daughter is at school about half an hour from Bangor. You guys shopped a lot. Not sure how you did it 😅I’d probably tapped out a lot sooner. You chose great stores with a lot of stock. It’s crazy to me that you have to buy things then turn around and pay to take them back home to Canada. 🤔 so does the items become crazy priced after that? Also where does that money go??? 🤔 And as long as you leave the house and go to the store, Christmas shopping is never done until after Christmas 😅 🎄🎁🎅🏼🧑‍🎄🎉
