As always so cozy and cute. 🥰 For future reference, you can get the air bubbles out of your buttercream a few different ways: When you have it in a piping bag you can close the end off and rotate it in circular motions to get the air bubbles out. The other ways include changing the temperature by mixing it: mix it with a flat spatula until you get the air bubbles out, you can microwave in small increments like 5 seconds, or you can try a hand mixer. Buttercream tends to get air bubbles bc of the kitchen temperature - it'll eventually get hard in colder temps as well. Super cute and yummy cakes! 🥰

You can remove bubbles from buttercream with a toothpick if there are not too many. You can microwave the buttercream (I zap it for 3 seconds). This will warm the buttercream. You would then stir it to release the bubbles. I will repeat a trip in the microwave if I’m still seeing bubbles after stirring it. If you’re overbeating the buttercream, you may see a lot of bubbles.

The lobster was still frozen when we landed- just threw it back into the freezer and pillsbury only needs to be refrigerated not frozen!

Thanks for sharing, For my recent Toronto trip, I originally thought after I off loaded 5 boxes of mooncakes, eggrolls, chinese sausages as souvenirs for my relatives in Canada, my bags would be so roomy and light when I returned. There is actually a Costco in Shenzhen now. Yes it's kinda far from HK and yes you need to cross the border but just in case you miss that Costco vibe, it's less than 100 miles away. (and Yes you can use Canada Membership card there)

Do you laundry it like regular or do you do something specific to it? I’m on the hunt for the perfect t-shirt that does not “bacon” on the neckline and doesn’t shrink in every wash. 😅

I usually wash victor’s shirts at 40C (whites only) and hang to dry to make sure they won’t shrink!
