Hi Kerry, I had exactly the same years ago around my mouth and my nose. I went to the dr and was told it’s where my skin was sensitive and that I’d stripped my skin if it’s natural oils and to just give it a rest from any facial products. I left my skin, didn’t use any facial wash to wash my face, just used makeup remover to take off my make up but gave my skin a complete break and it cleared up. I now use Neales yard products and I’ve not had any problems.

oh that's so interesting... I wonder if that's what I've done to my skin too.. its so much better already but I will try your way next time, I don't use much on my skin, only really good products but maybe I just need to go back to basics! xxx

Lou lou looks gorgeous (don't listen to Kerry Lou lou!!!)😁 Thanks for the tip on that antifungal cream. I keep getting a rash around my mouth that spreads, after I caught hand foot and mouth from the grandkids a few years ago. It always comes back this time of year. I'll give that a go. hehehehe bless her.. I still think she is toooo cute!!!! Oh yes try this cream.. the chemist said that if its fugal then its needs to be treated as it won't go away on its own! So defo give it a try.. my skin is looking a million times better already! xxx

Hi Kerry, if it’s not a fungal skin issue, look up ‘perioral dermatitis’ as that appears in exactly the same areas you have the rash. I used to get it and eventually treated it with a mild antibiotic and then it didn’t come back (touch wood). If it is that, the less cream you put on your face the better especially steroid creams. Oohh that name kind of rings a bell as to what the chemist said.. she said when we get run down our body reacts in weird ways and mine obviously came out in this and I’ve not quite been able to get rid of it on my own! This cream is helping so much so I’m really hoping it will go soon.. it’s anti bacterial so hoping it will make it go before Xmas!!! Xxx

@@KerryWhelpdale great to hear that the cream is helping. ❤️ If it is perioral dermatitis you might find that it kind of looks like little spots sometimes and maybe not even that bad in the morning but by the end of the day I was finding it was quite red and almost flakey when I had make up on it. I ended up taking an oral antibiotic for it but I think it often just goes away on it’s own. Anyway might not even be that, probably cause you were poorly. Hope you are feeling better now. Xxx

Hi Kerry if the cream doesn’t work try Hydrocortisone cream u can get it over the counter I had a rash just like yours nothing worked so I tried Hydrocortisone and 2 days later it was gone thank u for a great vlog Merry Christmas to u and your family ❄️☃️🎄💞😘

@@KerryWhelpdale Hydrocortisone cream, used _alone,_ can reduce inflammation and epidermal overgrowth in psoriasis, etc., but can't kill fungal infections and can even make things worse long term. However, a fungicidal cream, e.g. Clotrimazole 1% w/w, attacks the yeast infection, and the simultaneous application of both drugs is sometimes recommended. A reliable diagnosis is the first step, of course.

Kerry after covid I was same with rashes. If you can't get to gp you can get Eurax Hc cream without prescription. Definitely helped mine . 🎄

You can't buy hydrocortisone for your face from the pharmacy it's not licensed as it thins the skin
