So many lovely shops to snoop around. Looks like you had a productive shopping day. One thing I do not do, and it comes down to being self conscious about it.. is sit in a café by myself. I feel the whole world is staring at me.. ha We have that same little heater that we used in the Motorhome. It heated it up nicely. That should keep the chill out of your bedroom. Keeping your door semi closed would help too.

I was born and brought up a few miles from Pontypridd. We used to have faggots and peas in the market as kids. You went into Holland and Barrett where my sister in law Alex works. She's part time now so may not have been working when you were there. Really enjoy your wanderings! Sadly most Shaws have now closed including ours in Penarth. I bought all my wool there and stocked up in their closing down sale. :( Happy New Year to you and Izzy x
