i was slightly hoping that the second time we see Ed outside it is seriously snowing and he's battling winds to be able to sing, and then we see him a third time and its a pile of snow with more heavy snow happening.

Now THIS is perfect holiday viewing! The day that I simultaneously discovered Alex Horne and the Horne Section and the often hysterically funny British Panel Shows was a great day. I was already an anglophile, but on that day I stopped watching almost all American content. I feel so sad for my fellow Americans who would be very likely to find this to be incomprehensible, sacrilegious and threatening, it's a reflection of our wildly religious ancestors who were so intolerant and hateful that their own countrymen said "get out!." Of course, we like to say that they came here in leaky odoriferous boats seeking "religious freedom", but that is classic American historical revision. They were just typical religious fanatics, too obnoxious to be allowed to stay in England.
