I did just showed this video to my 8-year-old who he couldn't sleep because he's so excited about tomorrow (in Germany we celebrate christmas at Christmas Eve) - within two minutes he became sleepy and went to bed. So you saved my evening because I have to wrap presents and decorate the tree!

My family only does bucilla stockings, and we all have one. They’re a big part of our childhoods, and a favorite memory. Your daughter will love it!!! I have made 5 bucilla stockings so far for family members. I’m on my 6th currently and still have 4 more on the shelf waiting for me. It’s A LOT of work, but I enjoy it immensely!!! Dear sweet Maria, I found you 10 years ago when I was going through a heartbreaking divorce. You were my first exposure to ASMR and I have loved you ever since. You definitely helped me through some difficult times. Good job on the stocking and especially on completing it! I’ve made many handmade items over the years. The stocking you made for your daughter to keep reminds me of a quilt I made for my daughter. I used my own childhood quilt for the batting and sewed a new quilt top and back onto it so she could have part of me with her. She is your age now and she still has it.

Maria, my mom is an expert at sewing. We all have these type of stockings. Every time a new baby is born she makes one for them. It takes her months and months of working on them every night. Don’t beat yourself up on how long it takes. We absolutely treasure ours.
