I've mentioned this several times, in several different videos, and I'll mention it again, the Ballinger kids are some of the most well-behaved kids I've EVER seen, they're also sooooo loving and caring for one another, and very polite to their family and others! Mom and Dad have done, and are continuing to do, an AWESOME job parenting!!!!! If only all families were this loving 🥺

Omg I am always impressed by their patience with one another. In the last vlog teddy ate one of Parker’s marshmallows and he just shrugged and then ate one himself. I was like WOWWWW most kids would’ve been pretty upset. They are so patient and loving. I’m sure they have their moments but either way- it’s very impressive.

And that is a product of parents that actually truly love and care about their kids, and want to teach them right from wrong ,how to be polite and courteous to others. If only all parents would be this way.

I love that Jacob godt a saxophone! I've been playing since I was 9 (so for 25 years now 🙈). His mouthpiece is upside down but other than that I'm impressed! Word of advice regarding the reed: it does well with some moisture before you play (just hold it in your mouth for a while before reinserting it), and the reeds are extremely fragile, so keep the cap on whenever the sax is put down :)

Rats really do make the most amazing companions! I rescued one that had been a pet, but was abandoned after the owner passed away unexpectedly. I named him Ratty McRatterson 🐀 He was a beautiful cream with tan spots. His personality was the absolute best!! He let me carry him around. He’d snuggle with me. He loved to play & be silly! He’d built the funniest little houses houses out of all kinds of things. He loved sleeping in his hammock. I gave him a huge multilevel mansion to live in which I swear he would decorate & rearrange intentionally all the time. Please consider rescuing a rat for Parker!! It will truly be a special love! PS I have 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue so I have Cats, Dogs, & Pigs in my care too. It was never a problem having Ratty McRatterson around the other animals. I just practiced basic safety & nothing concerning ever happened.

Love how kids are sweet to each other. I understand that the Lego was Parker's gift but what I don't get Duncan asked him if he could help but parker said if he needs it and then said it is my gift. I remember one year Duncan got a big Lego set and parker asked if he could help build and Duncan said yes right away.
@dohraime140 Жыл бұрын
I think that was in response to Jessica suggesting Duncan, Bailey and Jacob could help. Parker got a more “grown up” set which is probably thrilling and he likely wants to attempt it himself. They share a lot of activities as a family but it’s also important to have ones that are singular and personal to you. The Ballingers balance that well. I grew up with a lot of siblings and have memories of lots of goofy times with them, but I also cherished time alone when I could delve into my interests. I suppose a bit like Jacob with his design and printing and channel

Ahhh Jacob I'm so excited for you to learn saxophone! It's such a fun, versatile instrument. Just know that the inside of your mouth is gonna hurt a bit for the first few weeks that you're learning! During that time, don't push it too hard but do keep playing consistently, Eventually your mouth will develop callouses in the right places (just like the tips of your fingers when you're learning guitar) and it won't hurt anymore!
