Looks like I’m too late to order anyway…so happy for you that this is successful for you…question.. looks like the quarter yard pieces are linear; not fat quarters, right? Fat quarters are so much more useful; just suggestion for future cutting.

Yes, they're 1/4 yard pieces for this quilt. We'll probably do FQs next time, but the 1/4 yd cuts worked better for this pattern. :)

Yes I have been in business. I’ve had two successful companies now. She has 469,000 followers and over 9000 views on this video as of two days ago. What amount of sales did she predict based on that data? Clearly not enough. She also had her first launch sales. There should be at least a 50% markup in fabric. I manufactured soy candles in my kitchen, 13 different sizes 137 fragrances. I had no KZbin channel because it was 2006, I had no analytics of any kind to gauge what quantity I needed. I invested $6000 into my first run, because you have to invest money into a business startup, you can’t start with nothing. Did I sell all of them in the beginning? No, I kept them in inventory and adjusted production moving forward. Eventually 95% sold at full price. Fabrics however, is a very competitive market. Consumers can get fabric from a myriad of manufacturers. She is competing with big brands like, MODA. What good is it if somebody comes to you and buys a $10 pattern but goes Fat Quarter Shop, Shabby Fabrics, Etsy, etc, spending $143 on a fat quarter bundle? That’s a bad day at the office! It’s just bad business! You have to take the risk. Or release the design and accept pre orders! I’ve already seen next year‘s fabric. I’m already pre-ordering fabrics for next summer and Christmas 2025 from my favorite designers! if you’re not ready for the endeavor, you shouldn’t do it.
