Oh, I LOVE the cozy home vlogs. Just like a nice hug! Also, I think (for what its worth) that putting the DVDs/CDs in an album is a great idea, saves heaps of space and the plastic gets broken anyway.

We took all of our DVDs and CDs out of cases and used folders. I did arrange them in order. Such a space saver. So handy when films are not free on streaming platforms.

What a fab catch up, I am the same like to spend the same amount on my boys and make sure they have bits to open. It does get harder now they are late teens and 20s so I start now or throughout the year. Making lists is crucial so my brain doesn’t forget x

Watching this vlog in bed tonight and realised we have the same Halloween cat/witches duvet set! I do Christmas spreadsheets too. I love the organising as much as buying and giving the presents, and I also like my Nephew and Niece to have the same amount of presents.

Morning Emma, I am exactly the same I get so much joy from getting stocking bits and Christmas shopping for my kiddos. Mine also make lists and I run spreadsheets to keep track as I start early as I have 4 kiddos lol mine all have the same budget as I have to have things equal and I also pad out with cheap bits if they want a couple of expensive things :) mum life lol I have also started giving my older daughter a movie-cation as we call it lol she hated the Matrix said it was too complicated but loved Hot Fuzz and Sean of the Dead (we are huge Simon Pegg fans lol). Great video as always xx

I try and add things to a list throughout the year if ive heard they would like something I make a note of it then I’ve got a little list ready as they always say they want nothing 🤦🏻‍♀️ and like you I like to be prepared. Vinted is good for dvds too as picked up some classics.

I would have found it odd if myself or one of my brothers had much more stuff than one another at Christmas. Mum was the same as you - always tried to make it even. As the only girl i was always 'easier' to buy for as i got older (mainly because Mum and I always shopped together so she'd always see and buy stuff i wanted). Even now in our late thirties/early forties Mum hates it if she hasn't spent the same on us and will even give my brothers' cash to make up the difference! Bless her, it worries her, but I'm the same with my niece and nephew. Can't give one more than the other!

I’m the same Emma. I have a boy and a girl and altho they’re grown up now and get less, when they were at home I always tried to get them a similar amount of presents. My hubby and I set a spend limit (and then I blow it LOL!!) Even tho they’re in their 20s and no longer live at home, I still do them stockings (and think I always will haha!!!) They come to us early on Christmas Day but it’s not the same as them jumping in our bed in the early hours 🥹 (extra sleep is nice tho) 🤣

I store all my DVDs like that. I have around 600 and yet I haven’t bought a single DVD in about a decade or watched one in about 5 years 😂 I have my separated by horror/thrillers and comedy/romance etc. I think we have a lot of the same DVDs but I’m happy to send you my collection if you wish and have a PO box? I can’t resell them due to not having the cases..the downfall 😂
