New subscriber today. I was wondering...do you leave your table set? In the Midwest, we set the table only at mealtime. I visited Washington D.C about 10 years ago and our hostess had the most beautiful table-scape. The table always looked fabulous.

Hey Joan, good question! Before I fell in love with tablescaping, the answer was no. BUT, now that I'm seriously into it, I do leave the table set. I actually started going through withdrawal when the table was bare after the holidays! We generally eat at the island (which you see me standing behind in the videos), but when we eat at the kitchen table, we just move the pretty plates and eat with the everyday plates on top of the chargers.
