by the way i have bought a guillotine cutter on ebay at a terrific price $24 aud and it should arrive in a few days so i am excited. didn't want to fight with blades anymore. thanks for your help in choosing . hugs.xx
@messageinafold9 жыл бұрын
+pearl hudson Great deal, Pearl. I think you will like the guillotine style trimmer better for the NON fussy cuts. You may have to use your sliding blade trimmer for those times you need to get in close to an image. You can't do that very well with the big guillotine cutters. Thanks for letting me know that I helped you make a choice for a major tool purchase. Hugs to my "Bionic" friend - Leslie

Slightly uneven edges as long as they are parallel on gift tags makes it much easier to open and read the sentiment. I actually make mine a hint off on purpose. Your work is rather lovely and you gave me some very good ideas, not the least of which was organizing my scrap by size.

Hello Leslie... You are so welcome! I have been wanting to make some videos myself but when I try they wont upload! The only ones I have had success with are the short ones of my little dog that I have uploaded. I have some from Thanksgiving I want to see If they will upload for me! I want to start making craft videos but don't want to wast my time if I cant get them uploaded! I tried to do some last year and never did get them up and never could figure out why! God bless & have a great weekend!
@messageinafold9 жыл бұрын
I don't know if the rule still applies. When I first started I was restricted to 10 minutes for a video length. After I had made several videos then I was allowed to go longer. I don't know how to answer your upload problem properly. Using a smartphone, you have to have a constant WiFi connection and your sleep timers turned off.....or keep tapping the front screen to not allow it to go to sleep. Each time it goes to sleep it stops the uploads. If you are using a standard camera and movie software to upload with it may be the same with your computer going to sleep while it is rendering. Just tossing out things that I had to learn the hard way myself. Leslie
@SouthernAngelsStamping9 жыл бұрын
Thank you Leslie! When I can get the chance to try it again I will see about this problem! Maybe.. Just maybe I will get my videos up and figure it all out so I can start making videos more! Have a blessed day! Merry Christmas!

I went upstairs to my craft room after viewing this video and your newest video where you made tags. I pulled out all my scraps of DSP from on folder and cut down layers and filed them, cut down thin strips for making a patchwork looking layers and others were designated for photo mats when I make my junk jounal and mini albums. It is so great to getting all this set up for projects. You taught me months ago how to organize my card stock scraps...Love you for all this inspiration. My craft room is becoming an efficient place to create.

You won't have to play hide and seek anymore with your tools, products, and supplies. I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!!! GIANT HUGS wending their way to you - Leslie

Great use of your scraps. I've done the same kind of set up, having the papers cut down and ready to go. I'm such a hoarder of little scraps that I've even used those itty bitty pieces that are left over from die cutting. I have a post about it on my blog if you want to check it out. cardsbymarianne.blogspot.ca. Look for the post where I made Easter eggs. Let me know if you can't find it. I'm posting on my phone and I don't know how to copy and paste a link on here. I'm so bad that you know the little square that you threw out? Well I have on occasion pulled it back out and thought "I am sure I can use it for something!" LOL. Have a great day Leslie and keep smiling! I went on my computer and found the link: cardsbymarianne.blogspot.ca/2016/03/paper-hoarding-queen.html
@messageinafold8 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Marianne, for the link to your blog. I will read it in just a few minutes. Oh mercy! I got a lot of flack for throwing out small pieces in the video I made about cutting scraps into piles. I think you may have even seen and commented on that video. I have hoarded myself right out of my room. *gasp* I used to save every single sliver of paper. I made a conscious decision to NOT do that. I have so much paper as it is. I know the old saying "Waste not, want not" but for me it comes down to choices. Clutter drives me NUTS and it makes me not want to be home. I'll sacrifice a few bits of paper and not feel guilt when I go into my creative space. I'm so excited to go see the cards you make. Thank you for watching my video and leaving such a sweet comment. Hugs - Leslie
