I actually enjoy this show and the music more now as an adult than I did as a kid. I find the themes to be very adult messages: from Lucy’s sarcasm, her offer of psychiatric help and desire for real estate, to Charlie’s chronic depression, the lack of empathy from the other kids and finally the sacrificial love of a true friend, Linus. Never fails to inspire me to try to do a better job of living the real message of Christmas.
